Mayday spent decades defining the electronic dance scene by taking the top techno, trance, hard dance and house stars across Europe to its spin-off events in Hungary and Russia.
Now it’s back in its home country, organisers are ready to wow some 25,000 ravers with a monstrous night of big national and international name DJs, cutting-edge producers and beats until way past dawn.
With an 8am curfew, there will be no let up at the German edition of the festival as lasers, giant L.E.D. screens and ear-pounding sound systems fill Dortmund's Westfalenhallen.
