The nearest airport is Katowice/Pyrzowice. On arrival catch a taxi to Katowice City costing 100 - 150 PLN, or "LINIA LOTNISKO" (Airport Line) public bus costing around 20 PLN - see timetables.

Tauron Nowa Muzyka has two full festival days on Friday and Saturday, plus an Opening Night concert on Thursday evening and a Closing Night concert on Sunday. Festicket packages all include a two day pass for the main festival days, and some include the Opening Night on Thursday.
A two day pass allows access to the main Tauron Nowa Muzyka days on Friday and Saturday. Separate tickets allow access to the Opening Concert on Thursday evening, and the Closing Concert on Sunday evening.

Tauron Nowa Muzyka was established in 2006, as a platform to inspire with new music, in the surroundings of a former coal mine. Since then, it has grown to become a significant force in the European festival circuit, voted "Best Small Festival" by the public at the European Festival awards in both 2010 and 2012.
The Tauron Nowa Muzyka site opens at 16:00 on Friday and Saturday, and closes between 02:00 and 03:00 the following morning.
Yes - once you have your wristband, you can leave and re-enter. Your wristband will be checked each time to see if it is still intact. (Should there be any suspicion that it has been removed or tampered with, you will not be allowed to re-enter the festival grounds.)
Each time you leave and want to go back on to the festival grounds you will be searched for illegal substances, alcohol and other forbidden items.
The Tauron Nowa Muzyka Campsite is located around 3km from the main festival location. However there will be a 24h shuttle service to and from the campsite as well as a free bike rental spot outside the campsite and the festival venue.
The campsite is open 24/7 from Thursday evening at 17:00 until Monday at 12:00.
There are showers, toilets, an open kitchen, first aid points and a food/drinks shop. Emergency routes are well lit at night.
Each day there will be a open after party in Katowice city center for anyone wearing a TNM2013 wristband for that day - more details to follow.
On Sunday night after the Closing Concert there will be an Official After Party with additional tickets needed, priced around 30-40 PLN, 10 GBP. Previous years saw the likes of Mount Kimbie and Matias Aguayo performing live. More details to follow.

Around the festival grounds you have to use special coupons. You can exchange regular money to our coupons at the designated exchange boxes situated next to the entry gates. The exchange rate is 1 coupon for every 3 PLN. Only purchase coupons from Tauron Nowa Muzyka staff - other coupons might be counterfeit.
There is a wide range of food and drink including vegetarian dishes and plenty of Polish beer.
Stalls include barbecue sausages, steaks, shish kebabs, potato casseroles with wild mushrooms and bacon, chips, indian/oriental rice and noodle dishes, pizza by the slice, and homemade polish traditional cuisine like dumplings with meat, cheese, mushroom fillings.
You can expect to pay around around 10 PLN (2GBP) for a portion of chips.
Yes - the site is fully accessible in terms of moving around, audience, food and drinks area access; be advised that the outdoor area might change due to weather conditions. Disabled toilets are available. Contact the festival direct for more details.
Yes, there is a First Aid point on the main festival grounds and one on the camping site. Please ask a member of Tauron Nowa Muzyka staff or refer to maps for the exact location.
There isn't one. However, kids below the age of 18 must be accompanied by a guardian above the age of 18.
Children aged 7 and under do not need a separate ticket. Children aged between 8 and 18 need a ticket and a guardian.
No, it’s strictly forbidden to enter the festival grounds with your own food and drinks. The festival has designated food and drink areas where you can purchase these items. All private food and drinks found at the festival gates will be confiscated.
Of course there will be a luggage storage place operating right next to the main festival gates where you can leave all your belongings (opposite the main festival grounds).
Be advised that the storage will only operate in between 2 p.m. and 1 a.m.
Tickets and entry passes have to be exchanged for festival bracelets upon first entry to festival grounds. Every bracelet can only be used by its holder and no one else. Any damage to the bracelet may result in it becoming invalid. You can get your festival bracelet in a designated exchange point located by the main gates and at a special location (to be confirmed) a few days before the festival starts.
Yes, there’s a special bus service operating around Katowice during the festival. This includes locations such as the festival main grounds / festival camping site and any other offside concert and additional events locations in Katowice.
You will only be allowed to enter the festival’s ground with digital device with an average of 5 mega pixel camera or less and without (most important factor) any additional setup (stands, external/radio flash lamps etc.).
You are only allowed to bring with you a small, foldable umbrella. All large umbrellas with pointy and sharp endings will not be allowed to the festival grounds.
It's always tricky to get onto the festival grounds carrying potentially illegal substances, so make sure you have your medical prescription with you as you might be asked to show it to the security personnel. You might also be asked to report to the First Aid point to discuss your condition and get a confirmation that you are OK to take part in the event and carry your medications with you.
