Ellie Goulding is an English singer and songwriter, who released her debut LP “An Introduction to Ellie Goulding” in December 2019. In 2010 she won both the BBC’s “Sound of…” poll and the “Critics Choice Award” at the Brit Awards. Her studio debut album, “Lights” went straight to number one and has sold more than 850,000 copies in the UK alone. She also recorded a cover of Elton John’s “Your Song”, which was featured in the 2010 John Lewis Christmas advert. “Halcyon”, Goulding’s second studio album was released in October 2012, featured the hit “Anything Can Happen”. The album was repackaged in August 2013, and generated singles, such as “Burn”, which became her first number one UK single. She won best female artist at the 2014 Brit Awards. November 2015 saw the release of her third studio album, featuring the hit single “On My Mind”. In January 2015 she released the single “Love Me Like You Do”, which featured on the soundtrack for “Fifty Shades of Grey”. For this track she was nominated for “Best Pop Solo Performance” at the Grammys. Since then she has collaborated with artists such as Sean Paul (“Bad Love”), Diplo and Swae Lee (“Close to Me”) and Juice Wrld (“Hate Me”). She has also released the singles “Flux” and “Sixteen”.
