Old Irish music has inspired recent pop songs, such as the intro to Macklemore's song Shadow, with the fiddle leading the song in a traditional Irish fashion. U2, The Cranberries, and Van Morrison are all from Ireland - so, there is a history of popular artists taking the stage in this country - and you can usually find festivals with a variety of genres.

Irish festivals include the likes of Metropolis Festival, Body&Soul Festival, Boxed Off Festival, and St Patrick's Day.

Artists such as Róisín Murphy, Mac DeMarco, Grandbrothers, Amelie Lens and Patrick Topping can be seen playing at a number of Irish festivals.
