Country

Country music originated in the South, more specifically in Tennessee, of the United States in the early 20th century and was rooted from folk music and blues. The genre is special because of its keen focus on storytelling.

The genre is often associated with pickup trucks, cowboy hats, and beer and is usually accompanied by string instruments such as banjo, fiddle, and acoustic guitar.

Some of the best country music festivals are found in the USA and include the likes of Tumbleweed in Kansas, Seven Peaks in Buena Vista, CMA Music Festival in Nashville, Tree Town Music Festival in Forest City, Gulf Coast Jam in Panama City Beach, Windy City Smokeout in Chicago, Watershed Festival in Quincy, Old Settler's Music Festival in Tilmon, Texas, Stagecoach Festival in Indio, Country Thunder Flordia in Kissammee, and Country Fan Fest in Salt Lake City.
