In just a week's time the Peak District will be alive with the sounds of The Libertines, Catfish and the Bottlemen and Manic Street Preachers as Y Not Festival rolls back into town.
From 80s bangers to laugh out loud comedy, here are just five essential things to do at Y Not 2018.
Party hard at The Big Gin
Y Not's hallowed main stage – that retains the same name it had nearly 15 years ago – is the place to be come 10pm. Having been graced by none other than Snoop Dogg and Noel Gallagher, we're certain the buzz may even surpass that when Pete and Carl step out.
Turn back the clock in Club Malibu
Ever just fancy boogying down to some MJ or Whitney Houston? If the answer is a yes, then you absolutely need to get yourself over to Club Malibu, which will be smashing out non-stop 80s bangers all day, every day.
Laugh out loud at Flamingo Jacks
If you're after something a little different, head over to Flamingo Jacks. Featuring its own bar and food selection, here you'll be treated to a programme of comedy and live entertainment, such as Matt Richardson and Mock the Week regular Gary Delaney, who will be bringing his show Gangster's Paradise to Y Not.
Sip a cocktail at the Sunset Lounge
No Y Not is complete without a visit to the Sunset Lounge. Right in the heart of the Gold City, this is perfect when you're after something a touch sweeter than your typical ale. Believe us, it's an all day tropical beach party.
Keep the kids entertained at the Strawberry Fields
Going to Y Not with a few kids? Don't fret, there's more than enough to keep them entertained. Take them over to the Strawberry Fields (in Sgt. Pepper Meadows) where you'll find the kid's main stage (The Yellow Submarine) as well as The Garden, where there'll be a variety of games and magic shows.
Y Not Festival will return on 24-26 July 2020. Find out more on our guide.
