World Trance, French specialists of all things progressive and psychedelic trance, have got a busy winter ahead of them, showcasing an array of the scene's biggest stars. Here's the lowdown on what you can expect.
After eight editions, World Trance are calling it a day on their hugely popular annual winter instalment in Montpellier as they grace Zénith Sud for 'The Last Edition'.
On hand to bring things to a fitting close are some of psychedelic and progressive trance's biggest and most respected names – the likes of Neelix, Ace Venture, Blastoyz and Omiki among those providing the beguiling soundtrack to the nine-hour trance marathon.
But as with all of World Trance's events, the appeal goes way beyond the musical offerings – not least of all when it comes to the decoration, production, lighting and staging, each expertly designed to maximise the magic on the night.

World Trance – Elephant Tour
Since the beginning of this month and running regularly until early December, World Trance have been taken their unmistakable brand of trance madness across France, inviting an array of favourites from the scene along with them to wow trance fans nationwide.
But without doubt the most hotly anticipated shows are the final two that have been added to the run, both taking place at the end of February in the cities of Toulouse and Lyon respectively. The anticipation for these shows comes in no small part due to the esteemed headliners – international trance megastars Vini Vici.
The Israeli duo have, over the last five years or so, become of the genre's flag-bearers on the international stage, performing across the globe on the biggest of stages – including the iconic Tomorrowland MainStage this summer (see below). So the chance to see them in such comparatively intimate settings is not one to be missed.
