The Killers have been confirmed as the third headliner for TRNSMT Festival 2018, taking place on Glasgow Green next June and July.
The band will be embarking on a huge global tour next year following the release of their fifth album Wonderful Wonderful, which earned the band their first ever number one album in the US, and continued their impressive record of topping the UK album charts with every single one of their records. They will headline TRSNMT on Sunday 8 July 2018.
They join Liam Gallagher and Stereophonics at the top of the bill for next year's festival, which will be expanding to two weekends.
Also announced today are CHVRCHES and Franz Ferdinand, who along with The Courteeners, Wolf Alice, J Hus, The Script, James Bay and Jessie J, make up the list of names confirmed so far.
Having started out as a replacement for T in the Park, the festival is now looking to become the event at the heart of the Scottish music calendar.
And by taking place in the city centre it includes all the revelry of a traditional music festival, but also gives festival-goers the chance to explore the city's bars, restaurants, nightclubs and cultural attractions.
Day tickets for Sunday 8 July 2018 will go on sale at 9am on Friday 8 December.
TRSNMT Festival 2018 will take place on both 29 June - 1 July, and 6-8 July. Find out more on our guide, and book tickets and accommodation to the festival here.
