Liam Gallagher has been confirmed as the first headliner for TRNSMT Festival 2018, taking place next June and July in Glasgow.
Fresh off the back of his well-received solo album As You Were, the ex-Oasis man will play the Scottish Festival on Saturday 30 June 2018.
Described by Live4Ever as "a record where both lyrical astuteness and biting vocals meet with enticing effect", As You Were is an album that proves the ex-Oasis frontman is as relevant as ever.
Also confirmed to be performing at next year's festival are The Courteeners, Wolf Alice and J Hus, with many more still to be revealed.
After a thrilling debut in 2016, TRSNMT last week announced that it will be expanding to two weekends in 2018, taking place on both the weekend of the 29 June, and 6 July.
Having started out as a replacement for T in the Park, the festival is now looking to become the event at the heart of the Scottish music calendar.
And by taking place in the city centre it includes all the revelry of a traditional music festival, but also gives festival-goers the chance to explore the city's bars, restaurants, nightclubs and cultural attractions.
TRSNMT Festival 2018 will take place on both 29 June - 1 July, and 6-8 July. Find out more on our guide, and book tickets and accommodation to the festival here.
