The never-ending stream of announcements from Mad Cool Festival continues, with ten new names confirmed today within the space of about two hours. And not just any names, there's some really heavy hitters in there. None more so than Kasabian, a band who have headlined festivals all over the continent, including what is arguably the holy grail, Glastonbury.
They find themselves on the second row of the festival's poster, beneath previously announced headliners Queens of the Stone Age and Depeche More, and alongside the likes of Massive Attack and Nine Inch Nails.
Elsewhere among the latest names are 2017 Mercury Prize winner Sampha, British electronica veteran Gold Panda, blistering Canadian rock duo Japandroids and mid-noughties indie favourites Snow Patrol.
Rag'n'Bone Man, Morgan, Perfume Genius, Marmozets and Washed Out make up the ten, joining an already very impressive and ever-increasing lineup.
Mad Cool Festival 2018 is on sale now.
