Portuguese festival Super Bock Super Rock have announced more names for their 2019 edition, including some very different artists from America's southern states.
First up – on Friday 19 July – two indie-folk favourites Calexico and Iron & Wine join forces for a collaborative performance, playing together for the first time in years (since the shows that followed their 2005 joint EP In The Reins).
Also announced are Atlanta rap giants Migos, an act whose influence on the style of modern hip hop since their breakthrough in 2013 is undeniable.
British soul collective Jungle have also been added to the lineup, joining the likes of Lana Del Rey, The 1975, Disclosure, Metronomy, Kaytranada and Charlotte Gainsbourg at the festival's 25th anniversary edition; which sees them return to their former home at Meco Beach, to the south of Lisbon.
