After several years out of the game, with the latest edition taking place back in 2014, the organisers of the long-running and beloved electronic music event Monegros Desert Festival have confirmed that it will return next summer.
Taking place on Saturday 1 August in the eponymous desert, the forthcoming edition will be the festival's 21st, having launched a quarter of a century ago in the summer of 1994 (running for many years under the name Groove Parade).
In that time, the festival became one of the most popular anywhere in Spain, with performances coming from a wealth of underground house and techno's biggest names, as well as a handful of mainstream superstars on their ascent to the top.
The organisers are promising more than 20 hours of non-stop partying, with the festivities kicking off at 14:00, and while there's no news on lineup just yet, it's a safe bet that they'll be looking to come back in style after their extended break.
