Iconic Brazilian festival Rock In Rio have announced another headliner for their upcoming edition, taking place in Rio de Janeiro from 27-29 September and 3-6 October.
Red Hot Chili Peppers will close the festival's main stage on Thursday 3 October, the funk-rock legends joining the likes of Drake, IRON MAIDEN, Muse, P!nk and Imagine Dragons at the top of the bill for the festival's 2019 edition.
Dave Matthews Band have also been confirmed to appear, performing before headliners Bon Jovi on Sunday 29 September.
The festival will be held in its spiritual home of Rio de Janeiro for the first time since 2017, as part of the now established pattern of alternating between Brazil and its European home of Lisbon.
Also on the lineup for this year are Seal, Jessie J, Slayer, Black Eyed Peas, King Crimson and more. See our guide for the fill lineup, and for more information about the festival.
