House and techno fans still in search of their summer festival-fix should take a look at Glitch Festival. Set on the beautiful Mediterranean island of Malta, the festival is a sun-drenched sonic journey.
Here are just five reasons you should make it your next festival.
The incredible lineup
From Berghain residents to disco divas, Glitch has its finger firmly on the pulse when it comes to curating its lineup. This summer's edition will see sets from techno legend Ben Klock, electro-queen Helena Hauff, house favourites Bicep and man-of-the-groove Motor City Drum Ensemble.
We previewed the lineup with five mixes from artists who'll be playing, which you can check out here.
The cool venues
From rooftop pool parties, to secret cave raves, Glitch showcases its enviable lineup across a multitude of unique spaces. The festival's six venues include its self-proclaimed House and Techno Fortress; The Vaults, which is set inside an old cave; and the secluded Cosmic Stage, where techno aces reverberate around the trees.
It's on Malta
Malta is fast becoming one of Europe's destination hotspots, and once you've taken a spin around the island, it's easy to see why. Take a step away from the festival and you'll find an island full of beautiful beaches, cultural ruins, cute towns, and inspiring views.
The weather will be banging
OK, so I can't strictly guarantee this. But come on, August on Malta... August on Malta... August on Malta...
The boat party finale
Glitch's boat party has built up quite the reputation in the festival scene. Bringing the curtain down on the final day, festival-goers will set sail on the beautiful blue with Palms Trax, Octo Octa and David Vunk.
Glitch Festival will take place on 14-16 August 2019. Find out more on our guide, and book your trip to this summer's festival here.
