Veterans of the London club scene will have no doubt heard of Abode, and will have probably turned up the heat at one of their many parties, whether that was in Studio 338, Tobacco Dock or Ministry of Sound.
This weekend the club brand hosts its first festival and biggest party to date inside London's Finsbury Park, alongside a lineup that includes Richy Ahmed, Steve Lawler, wAFF, Solardo and more.
Ahead of event, we got three DJs on the lineup to pick out some of their favourite tracks that'll definitely be making an appearance come Sunday.
Alberto D’meo & Gustavo Dominguez – BassGroove
This track I have been playing everywhere this summer. I like how the track builds and the vocal combination to the drop and the bass are mint. I just believe everything works with the track.
Electric Rescue – Rotations
I have been playing it for quite sometime now, but it always seems to boot off in that big festival environment. I really like the acid elements within it and of course the techno core. I especially like the big high hats that come in.
Marshall Jefferson – Move your body
One of my all time favourite tracks and I still play it today, especially closing a night. The way that he uses the piano is just genus and those heavy beats. It's just brilliant!
Induceve – Warehouse Shit (Riva Starr Edit)
This track is a beast for me at the moment. What I dig the most is the style of this song which is quite different from the rest and makes it unique but at the same time it's easy to blend into your sets.
S-Express – Theme from S-Express (Detlef UK version)
It's one of the first dance tracks that introduced me to electronic music and I was really excited and honoured to be able to remix this classic. What I love about it, is that after so many years and with some work on it, it still sounds fresh and current.
Groove Armada – At The River
This track is so emotional and it's a classic. It's perfect to play during sunrise or sunsets to give the crowd that hug your mates feeling.
D'Julz – Remember
I've been playing this track a lot in my sets at the moment and the crowd's reaction has been mental every time. It has this thumping rhythm that instantly gets people dancing.
Max Chapman – La Fiesta
Max Chapman has been killing it lately. This release has just come out on Hot Creations and has been getting a lot of love during my Ibiza sets. The minimal beat and Spanish vocals are perfect for the Balearic atmosphere. Max and I have a great friendship in and out of the studio, and I'm excited to have a collaboration EP with him coming out on Relief soon!
