The first wave of acts have been announced for esteemed French festival Les Eurockéennes, which returns to its beautifully picturesque home close to Belfort from 2-4 July next year.
Suitably diverse, the initial announcement includes celebrated French stars – dance music giant DJ Snake and Parisian rapper Lomepal among them – alongside an eclectic mix of international acts, from indie rock favourites old and new in Simple Minds and Foals, to Afrobeats giant Burna Boy, and German techno star Paul Kalkbrenner.
Now more than 30 years old, Les Eurockéennes is the biggest festival of its kind anywhere in France, regularly welcoming crowds of over 100 thousand across the summer weekend. And for the forthcoming edition, the organisers have announced a new addition to the format, with a Saturday night – Eurotronik – now dedicated to the best electronic music.
