Instrumental, experimental and alternative
AMFest brings some of the most respected names in the world of instrumental, experimental, progressive and post-rock to the Spanish city of Barcelona for a three day festival.
With a lineup that features bands from across the globe – from iconic Japanese group MONO and Belgium doom metallers Amenra to British favourites 65daysofstatic and Spain's very own Toundra – the festival is a diverse and immersive celebration of the more left-field, boundary pushing and unconventional variations of the rock sound.
The venue for all of this is a centre for contemporary art in the city's north; a fitting home for the music and creativity that AMFest looks to celebrate and encourage.
The festival takes place in an art museum in the San Andreu region of northern Barcelona.
