Milan's new electronic experience
Astro Festival is an electronic music festival in Milan, Italy.
The 9-hour party welcomes some of underground house and techno's leading lights to the city, including celebrated supergroup Moderat, perennial poll-topper Dixon and unique talent Gold Panda.
Previously held in Ferrara as part of the Sotto Le Stelle festival, this year sees Astro find a new home in Circolo Magnolia, the open-air music venue in the eastern reaches Milan, on the banks of the man-made Idroscalo lake.
Circolo Magnolia is an open-air music venue overlooking the man-made Idroscalo lake (originally built as a seaplane runway, as part of the nearby Linate Airport).
