Rock, workshops and fairs with a gothic twist
Autumn Moon Festival is a rock music festival in Hameln, Germany. Inspired by gothic themes and laced with imagery that most would associate with Halloween, this is a festival that is built upon a specific music programme but which looks way beyond what's on stage.
Workshops, exhibitions, readings and a commitment to sustainability all build up a strong community around the festival. Meanwhile, the best new artists take their places alongside much more established artists, emphasising the sense of a new adventure that flows throughout the weekend.
From real dark rock to some softer tones, the lineup carries a common thread that perfectly reflects the festival's atmospheric environment. Long after most non-electronic festivals have retreated until the summer returns, Autumn Moon Festival brings out the best in gothic motifs to offer something unique at this time of year.
Hameln is a small town of 56,000 situated on the river Weser in northern Germany. Indoor and outdoor stages host the festival's diverse programme.
