Lining up for another epic electronic Easter
Awakenings, techno and Amsterdam are a trio of things sure to light up the eyes of any electronic music fan.
Returning to its spiritual home – the city's Gashouder – for another Easter series in April, the Dutch promoters will be laying on four nights of the finest techno DJs until sunrise.
And as is typical with all Awakenings events, expect the best sound system as well as immense stage production and maybe the odd firework too.
The 2019 lineup will be announced closer to the festival.
Immediately identified by its giant disco ball, Amsterdam's Gashouder – AKA Awakenings HQ – is a huge renovated gas unit, featuring high, pillar-less ceilings and a curved roof, and is one of the world's most famous club venues.

BY PLANE: Amstedam's main airport is Schipol International Airport. From there you can either:
TAXI: This would cost about €40 and take around 20 minutes.

From there, it is just a short walk north and over the canal to the Gashouder. The journey will cost approx. €5 and take about 30 minutes.
Alternatively, you can take a 20 minute train to Central Station and either hop on a bus 21 to 'Van Hall', which takes roughly 15 minutes, or take a taxi costing around €10 straight to the venue.
Minimum age of entry is 18.
