Baccha returns for more breezy, beachside partying
Baccha Festival is a music festival in Vauclin on the island of Martinique.
Returning for its sixth year, the festival brings over 10,000 revellers to Vauclin's breezy, sun-kissed beach for two days of dancing.
Martinique has a strong musical heritage, and naturally high-energy festivals and carnivals have long been ingrained into its culture; a special fusion of French and Caribbean culture makes the island a different but totally unforgettable holiday – and festival – experience.
Martinique is a Caribbean island and part of the Lesser Antilles, and is a meeting point for French and West Indian cultures.
From Martinique's Fort fe France Airport you can take a taxi or hire a car and drive to Vauclin on the east side of the island, which takes about 25 mins.
