Beauregard Festival is a rock, pop, indie and electronic music festival set in a stunning château of the same name.
2018 will mark the 10th edition of this huge yet inclusive festival, where relaxed and beautiful surroundings are brought to life by a varied programme and huge lineups.
All overseen by the mythical and legendary John Beauregard, the festival has established itself as a very serious player on the European scene.
Depeche Mode are the first headliner announced for 2018.
Last year the lineup included Placebo, Pheonix, Iggy Pop, Die Antwoord and many more.
Château de Beauregard is a large manor house just outside the city of Caen. The generous grounds give ample space for faithful crowds year after year.
A Beauregard Festival ticket entitles you to a €10 round-trip from any station in Normandy, the Pays de la Loire region or Dol-de-Bretagne region to Caen SNCF station.
FROM CAEN CITY CENTRE: Tram line B runs every 15 minutes from la Place de la Mare in Caen city centre to the Café des Images stop in Hérouville-Saint-Clair. From there, it is a short walk to the festival site, to the north-east and on the west bank of the river.
FROM THE AIRPORT: The nearest airport is Caen-Carpiquet, about 15 minutes away. Buses run to Caen city centre every 20 minutes. The journey takes about half an hour and costs €1.
The festival is open to all ages. Children under 12 can even attend for free, if supervised by an adult. ID must be brought.
