Bergenfest is one of the largest music festivals in Norway. Taking place in picturesque and historic surroundings of the Bergenhus Fortress, the festival is situated in the heart of the city, at the North end of the UNESCO World Heritage site Bryggen in Bergen.
Over the course of five eventful days in mid June, Bergenfest offers the best of Norwegian and international music from an eclectic mix of genres - rock, Rnb, Hip Hop, EDM, world music and blues.
Bergenhus Fortress provides a unique and incredible festival venue, with sections dating back to the 1500s and huge lawn spaces surrounding the fortress itself.

BY PLANE: There are daily international flights to Bergen from London, Copenhagen, Stockholm and Amsterdam. Bergen Airport Flesland is situated approximately 20 minutes from downtown Bergen. Taxis from the airport to the festival site should take around 20 minutes and cost approximately £25 (300 NOK).
You must be at least 18 to attend the festival unaccompanied. However, those aged 15, 16 or 17 may attend if accompanied by an adult over 23. Each adult over 23 may be responsible for up to two people.
