Bilbao BBK Live is a rock, pop and indie festival in northern Spain. Situated on a lush green mountainside overlooking the city of Bilbao, the festival has become one of the country's biggest and best-loved, consistently boasting a lineup of internationally renowned acts from a diverse range of genres.
Starting later in the day that you might expect, there is ample opportunity to explore the beautiful city below, and with a lineup carefully put together to avoid excessive clashes you can enjoy a festival experience free from stress.
The festival's Basoa stage has also developed in recent years to offer late night revelry from some of underground house and techno's most respected and exciting names, so that the party can continue well into the early hours.
The festival takes place in the greenery of Mount Cobetas, overlooking the city of Bilbao on Spain's northern coast.
BY TRAIN: From Bilbao-Abando (the city's main station), a train to Santa Agueda takes around 10 minutes. The festival site is less than 1km from here.
BY PLANE: From the airport, you can either take a bus to Termibus (around 2km from the festival site) and walk the remaining distance, however the walk is hilly. Alternatively, the festival will run shuttles to the festival site from the city centre.
While those with three day passes will get wristbands, those attending for just one day won't - meaning once you leave the site you cannot re-enter.
Under 18's can attend but must be accompanied by an adult.
