A weekend of discovery

Bluedot Festival 2020 will no longer be taking place due to the ongoing coronavirus outbreak. All tickets will automatically be valid for 2021's edition, set to take place on 22-25th July next year. You can read the full statement from the festival here.

All Festicket customers will be contacted regarding next steps.

Bluedot Festival is an award-winning weekend of discovery, laying on a programme of music, art and science against the backdrop of the Jodrell Bank deep space observatory.

Recent Bluedot Festival lineups have featured music from across the genre spectrum, from headline sets from New Order, Hot Chip and Kraftwerk 3D through to performances from the likes of Kate Tempest, Jarvis Cocker and Omar Souleyman.

Beyond the music though, festival-goers will be able to stimulate their minds by getting involved with the range of live science experiments, expert talks and immersive artworks that are featured around the festival's five unique areas, all played out underneath the imposing Lovell Telescope.

The Jodrell Bank Discovery Centre is an educational observatory museum with science exhibits and the Lovell Radio Telescope. The centre is part of the University of Manchester.
