Keeping rock & roll alive
Calella Rockfest is a rock music festival held each year in the eponymous Spanish city, close to Barcelona. Now in its sixth year, the festival celebrates classic rock & roll styles with an international lineup of bands.
Across two days, a converted textile factory plays host to all manner of acts – from across Europe and from North America – smashing their way through sets filled with heavy basslines and huge riffs.
- Mike Farris & The Fortunate Few
- Nashville Pussy
Calella is a coastal city situated around 60km northeast of Barcelona. The festival takes place in a former textile factory, a throwback to the city's biggest historical industry.
