Having claimed Clapham Common as its home in 2014, Calling Festival's star-studded celebration of all things rock, pop and funk is set for another round in south-west London.

The musical heritage of Calling Festival's predecessor, Hard Rock Calling, still lives on through its extensive, multi-stage lineup, but is now enriched by even more iconic names and a wider genre palette.

Stevie Wonder and Aerosmith led the way at last year's sell-out event, continuing the festival's tradition for hosting the very biggest names in the business. 80,000 locals and travellers were treated to live music at its very best, with incredible food and drink on hand to help craft an unforgettable experience at the heart of the capital.

Just south of the river Thames and right on the Northern Line of the London Underground, Clapham Common is one of the capital's most popular parks.

FAQs

Heathrow is probably the easiest airport to use, as you can get to the festival site easily by train or underground. However, Gatwick (south of London) is also a good option.

BY UNDERGROUND: Clapham Common underground station is on the Northern Line, so can be reached direct from King's Cross St Pancras, Charing Cross, Euston and others. If you're coming from Heathrow, take the Piccadilly Line to Leicester Square and change to the southbound Northern Line.

BY TRAIN: Express trains leave frequently from both airports.

Heathrow to Paddington takes 15 minutes and costs £21.50 (£35.00 return). From Paddington, take the Hammersmith & City underground line to Kings Cross St Pancras and change for the northern line to

Gatwick to Victoria takes 30 minutes and costs £19.90 (£34.90 return). From Victoria, take the Victoria line south to Stockwell, before changing to the Northern Line for 2 more stops.
Alternatively, you can catch a regular overground train direct from Gatwick to Clapham Junction, which is less than a 10 minute walk away from Clapham Common.

Yes, children under 5 are not permitted at the festival. Those under 14 must be accompanied by a parent or guardian, over the age of 18, at all times.
