The UK's famous family-friendly festival
Camp Bestival is the UK's most famous family-centric music festival, held each summer in the beautiful surroundings of Lulworth Castle in Dorset.
Its diverse programme stretches from music (recent headliners have included Clean Bandit, Mark Ronson and Madness), to comedy, theatre, workshops, fun and games for all ages, from the grandparents to the grandchildren.
Each year the festival also has a fancy dress theme, with all festival-goers encouraged to go all-out and get creative, adding to the eccentricity of a unique and immersive weekend.
The 2019 lineup will be announced closer to the festival. The last edition included sets from Rick Astley, Simple Minds and Clean Bandit.
Lulworth Castle is a stunning castle and grounds situated near to the Dorset coastline. With green, rolling fields, it is the perfect space for the festival's various stages and quirky activities.

Bournemouth Airport is the closest airport to the festival site.
The Yellow Buses line A1 runs every 30 minutes from the airport to Bournemouth Station. From there, it is a 30 minute train to Wool, from where a local taxi is the best option for the short ride to Lulworth Castle.
All ages can attend Camp Bestival. Those under 4 go for free but still need a ticket, while those under 18 must be with a parent, legal guardian or nominated guardian.
