King of the Swiss slopes
Nine days, 140km of snow and six stages of the best electronic, rock, pop, hip-hop and RnB around, Caprices Festival is skimming down the mountainside once again for an Alpine show in a league of its own.
Year after year, huge and diverse lineups descend on one of Switzerland's finest resorts, building the festival's international reputation on musical greats like Robert Plant, Björk, Fatboy Slim, Lou Reed and Iggy Pop. And after 11 spellbinding editions, Caprices Festival is heading back up do it all over again.
Crans-Montana sits at 1500m above sea level, with its highest point on the Plaine-Morte Glacier up at twice that height. There are pistes for all levels of skier and snowboarder, making for over a week of amazing slope time matched by the incredible music schedule and brilliantly unique venues.
Snug in the Alps of Switzerland's south-west, Crans-Montana's 140 km of world-class slopes held the 1987 ski World Championships and the resort is often part of the Word Cup schedule. Crans-Montana is a combined resort of the two snowsport centres, Crans and Montana.
