The famous mountain-top party
Caprices Festival is a famous electronic music festival held in the Swiss Alpine resort of Crans-Montana. Fans of underground house and techno are now well aware that the mountain-top party is one of the finest meeting points for the scene's most respected names.
With the likes of Sven Väth and Ricardo Villalobos counting themselves among the festival's regulars, the four day affair hosts parties both in the town's clubs, and in the now iconic MDRNTY stage perched atop the mountain, with far-reaching views across the Alps.
The lineup for 2019 has not been announced yet. The last edition included Ricardo Villalobos, Sven Väth, Ben Klock, Luciano and many more.
The festival sits atop one of the continent's most popular ski resorts, with 140km of slopes and pistes within sight of the iconic Matterhorn.
