A unique summer series set in Amsterdam's old shipyard
City Sounds is a series of open-air shows in Amsterdam, Netherlands.
Set in the uniquely atmospheric backdrop of what was once one of the Dutch capital's industrial shipyards, the series brings thousands of music-fans to the north of the capital for several evenings of top-tier music.
This year's festivities are headed up by Jessie J, James Bay, and Thirty Seconds To Mars.

The most convenient airport is Amsterdam Airport Schiphol (AMS).

There is a direct and free ferry Amsterdam Centraal Station and the NDSM Werf.
By underground you can stop at Noorderpark and catch bus 35 which stops within walking distance of the festival site.
The music begins at 20:00, but the doors will open 17:30 to allow you to enjoy a meal or have a drink as you please.
