See Ostrava's true colours

Colours of Ostrava is a vibrant multi-genre music festival, held within the imperious surrounds of Dolní Vítkovice which is found just outside of Ostrava, Czech Republic.

Listed as a UNESCO heritage site, this extraordinary industrial works showcases a similarly fascinating lineup; spanning from pop icons to rock legends, there's even a strong presence from most contemporary music genres, making the festival as much about discovery as hearing the classics.

With a multitude of stages, workshops, theatrical performances, and film screenings, there is a wealth of entertainment to enjoy over the course of four days, and this is where Colours of Ostrava's true colours really show.

The festival settles among blast furnaces, mines and ironworks in an old coal mine near Ostrava.

FAQs

BY PLANE: The nearest airport is Leoš Janáček Airport Ostrava which is around a 20 minute drive away from the city centre. If you are flying, we recommend getting either a bus or taxi into Ostrava because the airport doesn't have its own train station. There are many buses that run via Ostrava from the airport.

BY TRAIN: The closest train stop to the festival is Ostrava-střed, which is located approximately 500 metres from the festival grounds. The main destination station for long-distance trains is Ostrava -hlavní nádraží, from where you can make your journey to the festival using Ostrava public transport (tram) or taking a train to Ostrava-střed.
