Escape with an eclectic mix of music
Common People Southampton is the south coast's edition of the popular music festival from Bestival founder Rob Da Bank.
The eclectic May weekender features a lineup that spans from mainstream dance through to hip-hop, indie, pop and more, as well as encompassing all other kinds of excitement and activities for festival-goers to get involved in.
The 2019 lineup will be announced closer to the festival.
Southampton Common is a large and open green space based in the north of the city. Its size makes it perfect for summer festivals and events.

BY PLANE: If you're flying to Southampton's main airport, you can then take either a 10 minute taxi, or the U1 bus from Southampton Airport Parkway to the Common.
BY TRAIN: Southampton Central Station is around 2 miles from Southampton Common, which is around a 5 minute taxi ride or a 35 minute walk. You can also get the number 7 bus which will take you to outside the Common.
Camping is not available for the festival.
Yes, there will be cashpoints, and the bars will accept card payments.
No re-entry is permitted unless it is for very valid reasons. If you do have to leave the site and come back in, you will need your wristband, valid ticket and may be subject to a full search.
Anyone under 16 will need to be accompanied by a parent, legal guardian or nominated guardian.
Common People is free for children under 5, however they do need a ticket and this can be ordered at the same time as when you buy your tickets. They can also be added on free of charge to an existing ticket order if needed.
