Electronic grooves in the ancient town of Foligno
Dancity Festival is an electronic music festival in Foligno, Italy.
Celebrating its eleventh edition this year, the festival welcomes a lineup of international musicians, artists and DJs for a celebration of innovative electronic music, complete with live performances, DJ sets, audiovisual exhibitions and art installations.
This year will also see the festival host Dancity School, a program to educate young children through electronic music.
Taking place in the historical and evocative buildings of the ancient Italian city, the festival fuses forward thinking and innovative cultural exploration with a deep respect for the rich history of the town it inhabits.

The festival will inhabit the historical buildings of Foligno, an ancient town in the Italian province of Perugia.

BY PLANE: There are a couple of minor airports close to the festival, Perugia and Marche. Perugia Airport is around an hour from Foligno by bus. From Marche Airport, take either a bus or train to Jesi station, followed by a train on to Foligno. The closest major airports are in Rome. From both of the capital's airports, head to Roma Termini station and then catch a train to Foligno.
BY TRAIN: Foligno Station is a one the region's main railway hubs. The station can be reached directly from Rome, Florence, Ancona, Rimini, and a number of other regional locations.
