Turning the city into a giant music festival
Distortion is an collection of parties that runs throughout Copenhagen. Bringing over 100,000 people to the Danish capital, the festival is best described as orchestrated chaos.
Featuring over 300 concerts and DJ sets, Distortion has a sprawling multi-genre lineup to soundtrack street parties all over the city that compliment its two day, localised Distortion Ø festival.
Celebrating its twentieth anniversary last year, the festival is heading into its third decade as one of the most unique and wildest music festivals in the world.
This year's lineup hasn't been announced yet, but the 2018 edition featured Solomun, Charlotte de Witte, Ghostface Killah, and many more.
Copenhagen's Nørrebro and Vesterbro areas morph into packed, semi-chaotic dance arenas, as the city comes to life with truly unique character.
