Celebrating its 20th anniversary

EXIT Festival celebrates its 20th anniversary in 2020 as it enters a new era with its biggest edition at Novi Sad's magical 18th century Petrovaradin Fortress in Serbia.

Once again inviting some of the best artists from the worlds of rock, indie, hip-hop and electronic music, EXIT will showcase these alongside the best underground talent around, curating a truly diverse and unique festival that has become one of Europe's favourites.

And aside from the music, festival-goers are near to Novi Sad – one of the European Capitals of Culture for 2021 – and therefore ripe to be explored.

Brimming with excellent museums, galleries, restaurants, cafes and bars, Novi Sad is famed for its mix of soviet architecture and heritage with a modernised Hungarian/Austrian look, and is the perfect getaway for cultural and historical buffs.

Petrovaradin Fortress is an amazing 18th century fort, overlooking the Danube river in the city of Novi Sad. EXIT has called the Fortress home since its every first edition in 2001.
