Incredible music in a fortress setting
EXIT is a Serbian rock, indie and electronic music festival held each summer in Novi Sad's magical 18th century Petrovaradin Fortress.
2019's lineup will feature a headline set from the one and only The Cure, who will be performing in Serbia for the first time, bringing with them their hits 'Boys Don't Cry' and 'Friday I'm in Love.'
Each year, the festival showcases a diverse music program that covers rock to punk, hip-hop, and the best electronic music across over 40 stages inside the fort's moats, trenches and even tunnels.
And aside from the music, festival-goers are also encouraged to explore Novi Sad: one of the European Capitals of Culture for 2021.
Brimming with excellent museums, galleries, restaurants, cafes and bars, the city, famed for its mix of soviet architecture and heritage with a modernised Hungarian/Austrian look, is the perfect getaway for cultural and historical buffs.
