Farr Festival is one of the most popular UK boutique festivals, welcoming some 2,000 festival-goers into its tranquil woodland-setting for a weekend of electronic partying.

Evolving from a small gathering of friends in 2009, the festival now attracts an array of international talent spanning the depths of electronica, last year hosting George FitzGerald, Jackmaster and DJ Koze.

Those invited will play across multiple intimate stages (including some new ones), alongside a selection of film screenings and fairground rides to enjoy while taking a break from the dancing.

If you are approaching Newnham from London, take the A1M motorway northbound towards Peterborough and leave the motorway at junction 10 for Stotfold and Shefford. At the roundabout beneath the motorway bridge, take the third exit and join the A507 towards the Baldock service station. At the next roundabout take the second exit and continue to follow the Great North Road A507. In approximately 50m turn left onto the Newnham Road and follow the road to Newnham/Ashwell. After driving a further 0.3 miles you will reach the junction in Newnham Village where you turn right. Now continue on to Newnham Road for a further 0.1 miles and you will find Newnham Hall on the left hand side of the road. Please turn right onto the stone road.

BY TRAIN: Baldock is the closest station to Farr Festival and direct services run from London King's Cross. A taxi takes around 5 minutes from Baldock to the main site and costs approximately £10, depending on the time of day. Letchworth and Stevenage stations are also close, but taxi costs for these will be a little more expensive. We recommend booking taxis beforehand, as the service tends to get busy over the weekend.

Minimum age of entry is 18.

Toilets and showers are available within the campsite. Bring a towel, shampoo, shower gel and whatever else you need use to scrub up.

Only in the campsite –The festival allows 12 cans of beer / lager / cider per person OR 6 cans of beer / lager / cider and 1 bottle of wine (decanted into plastic bottle) per person. Spirits are strictly prohibited.
