One to tick off the bucket list
Fuji Rock is the biggest alternative and pop music festival in Asia.
Known worldwide, it's the one of the most prestigious music festival's in Asia, let alone Japan. Welcoming the likes of Bob Dylan, Björk, Foo Fighters, Radiohead, and Coldplay in recent editions just goes to show the impressive lineups they curate year after year.
Gracing the summit of Fuji Rock's famed Green Stage this year will be The Chemical Brothers, The Cure, and Sia.
And backed up by some of Japan's most breathtaking countryside, this has to be one of the first festivals on everyone's bucket list. Though don't be fooled by the name: the iconic Mount Fuji only hosted the first edition in 1997, with every edition since taking place much further north at the Naeba Ski Resort.
