Further Future is a Las Vegas festival from the same people who organise Burning Man. After a beautiful second edition in 2016, it'll be returning to the desert for another weekend of left-field artists, pop-up art installations and future exploration.
Draped in slick designs and a futuristic vibe, Further Future's blend of music, technology and art punctuate its barren, vast setting, creating an oasis for those looking to escape life's daily routines and embrace cultural optimism.
2016's lineup featured Nicolas Jaar, Four Tet and Dixon, who all performed alongside a series of talks from CEOs of some of the country's most forward-thinking tech companies.
The 2017 lineup will be announced closer to the festival. 2016's included Nicolas Jaar, Four Tet, Dixon and WhoMadeWho.
The Moapa River Indian Reservation, famed for its sandstone rock formations and vast, barren landscape, lies to the north-east of Las Vegas.
The festival will be operating a regular shuttle bus service from McCarran International Airport for those who purchase a shuttle pass in advance.
Please be sure to leave ample time if you’re taking the shuttle back to the airport to catch a flight.
Alcohol will be sold on site so admittance will only be granted to those 21 years and older with valid government ID. Driving licenses or passports only. Admission will be strictly refused without an original ID; scans, copies or electronic copies will not be accepted.
