A rural rock sanctuary
Across two days in rural northern Portugal, on the edge of the country's only National Park, Gerês Rock Fest hosts a diverse lineup of acts exploring sounds from across the rock music spectrum.
Predominantly celebrating Portuguese talent, the festival is headlined by one of the country's biggest rock exports and gothic metal icons Moonspell, alongside post-rock outfit Linda Martini.
Elsewhere on the lineup there are elements of stoner rock, indie, alternative, blues, prog and more, offering something to rock fans of all sorts across the weekend.
Campo do Gerês is a Portuguese village situated on the edge of the Peneda-Gerês National Park in the north of the country.
