Returning to Malta after a thrilling debut
Glitch is a house and techno festival on the Mediterranean island of Malta. After a storming debut in 2016, the festival returns to the country for another party at the "House and Techno Fortress'.
Festival-goers will have the chance to lap up the last of the summer sunshine in the company of Maceo Plex, Jon Hopkins, Marcel Dettmann and Ben Klock, who will lead a lineup of sun-kissed house and disco followed by darker, disjointed techno, acid and electro as the night progresses.
Uniting electronic music lovers with Malta's cultural ruins, beautiful beaches and laid-back atmosphere, Glitch pairs musical debauchery and summer relaxation, with perfect results.
The island of Malta sits in the heart of the Mediterranean and is just 80km off the coast of Italy. The population of the island is less than 500,000.
Gianpula is the largest open air club in Rabat, hosting many dance festivals and events during summer.
Gianpula Fields, Rabat, Malta
Malta International Airport is in the south of the main island, and there are good transport links around the island from there.
Festival shuttle tickets will be available soon. The departure and drop off point will be in Qawra.
Minimum age of entry is 17.
The festival starts at 19:00 on Thursday and at 17:00 on Friday. On both days the main stage at Gianpula fields will finish at 02:00. The three other rooms open at 01:00 and go on until 04:00.
