Good Vibes Festival is a music festival that takes place in the hill-side town of Gohtong Jaya, to the north of Kuala Lumpur.
Uniting internationally renowned acts with exciting local talent, the lineup spans rock, indie, pop and electronic music each year.
Since the first edition in 2013, Smashing Pumpkins, Ellie Goulding, The 1975 and Disclosure have stepped up to headline, highlighting the festival's impressive pedigree despite still being in its relative infancy.
The festival's stunning mountain side location to the north of Kuala Lumpur offers music fans the chance to experience the beautiful greenery of the natural environment, within touching distance of the nation's bustling capital.
The festival takes place in the town of Gohtong Jaya, located in the hills to the north of KL, close to the Genting Highlands hill resort.
BY TRAIN: KL Sentral is Kuala Lumpur's main inter-ctiy rail station, and can be reached from across Asia. From the station, the quickest and easiest way to get to the festival is by taxi, which should take around 45 minutes and cost £15.
BY PLANE: There are a few option for how to reach Gohtong Jaya from Kuala Lumpur Airport. You can get to KL Sentral by train (30 minutes) or by bus (1 hour) and then get a taxi the rest of the way (45 minutes). This should cost around £17 if you get the bus, or £25 if you get the train. Alternatively, a taxi directly to the festival from the airport should cost no more than £35 and take just under 1 hour 30 minutes.
