Creativity shines down on the lower Rhine

Haldern Pop Festival is a multi-genre music festival in Rees, Germany.

Over the course of 35 years, it has steadily become one of Europe's most established and diverse festivals, offering a lineup with whom creativity and genre know no bounds.

Taking place in Rees, located in the lower Rhine, Haldern Pop Festival is a consummate open-air summer festival set in a beautifully lush, intimate former horse range. Aside from the main arena, there are performances taking place across a multitude of stages; the nearby Haldern church for instance.

Indicative of the roster's diversity, the year's leading artists include Father John Misty, Sophie Hunger, IDLES, Michael Kiwanuka, and Loyle Carner with plenty more variety to be rolled out.

This is a classic outdoor festival, taking place in a converted horse racing area. Lush grass and woods surround the stages and a large campground is nearby.
