Heartland Festival is an eclectic music, visual and culinary arts festival and lecture series in Kværndrup, Denmark. Taking place on the island of Funen, this festival is an inquisitive escape from the doldrums of everyday life.

Heartland Festival takes place on the lush grounds of Egeskov Castle, Europe's best preserved water Renaissance castle. The site features intact parks, a moat and a maze from the 1700s, as well as Renaissance architecture.
The nearest airport is Copenhagen Airport (CPH). Upon arrival, take a train to Odense St. (1 hour 35 minutes). From here, hop on the metro to Ringe St. (16 minutes) where you can catch the 920 bus to Egeskov Gade (14 minutes). Follow the signs to Egeskov Castle.
