Her Damit Festival is an electronic music festival held inside a former Nazi holiday resort in Germany.

Sitting between a pine wood and the Baltic shore, Her Damit's industrial lineup of popular techno acts such as Kobosil, Recondite, DVS1, and Daniela La Luz are perfectly reflected in the imposing, glaring Third Reich architecture that overshadows it. Escape that though, and you're on the island's lush sands and the company of the Baltic sea.

The intimate festival is also a keen playground for artists, with a variety of art installations and other quirks painting its own character on the historical setting.

The so-called "Colossus of Prora" is embedded in between pine woods and the shore of Rügen, a Baltic Sea island. The site was once planned to be a holiday resort during the Nazi regime, and is therefore known for its distinct Third Reich architecture.

FAQs

The nearest international airport to the festival is Berlin. You can then catch a train onto Prora Station (5 minutes from festival site) from Berlin city centre.
