Houghton Festival returns after an incredible Norfolk debut last August, which saw the weekender jump right onto the list of everyone's favourite electronic music festivals.

Unique in that it has a 24 hour licence, meaning the music never stops at Houghton, the festival, curated by the one and only Craig Richards has a special emphasis on the special: think spontaneous back to backs and longer than usual sets.

On the return, Craig Richards said: "By presenting music, art and a promised experience in an honest and restrained way meant those four days in Norfolk last year were not only magical but they were believable.

"The setting proved to be nothing but perfect. Our aim is to build on the foundations of last year's success, but instead of growing we're sticking to the story with minor improvements and a strong belief in the initial concept.

"Artists, DJs and musicians will be presented with meritocracy and equality. Everyone who performs will be given a chance to shine and everyone who attends will be treated to the best of everything."

The art and sculpture programme will also be revealed soon, though Houghton Estate will host a Damien Hirst exhibition this summer, with some of the famed artist's "most recognisable sculptures" installed in the estate's gardens.
