Ikarus Festival is an open-air techno and house music festival at Memmingen Airport, Germany.
The party spreads a star-filled lineup across six areas, over three days of camping and intimate raving.
A circus show program and atmospheric setting add extra character, as Ikarus stretches out its wings and soars high into the air each year.
The festival takes place in the grounds of Memmingerberg Airport, an international airport in Germany's south-western corner.
BY PLANE: As the festival takes place on the grounds of an international airport, it is very easy to reach by plane. Both Ryanair and Wizz Air operate regular scheduled flights to Memmingen Airport across the year, from a number of European cities. BY TRAIN: Memmingen can be reached directly by train from Munich and Augsburg (as well as from Switzerland less regularly). Bus lines 2 and 810/811 run to Memmingen Airport from the city centre, around a 15 minute journey.
The festival is strictly 18+.
