Techno comes to Memmingen Airport

Ikarus Festival is an open-air techno and house music festival at Memmingen Airport, Germany.

An airport as a festival location makes it incredibly convenient to fly into from across Europe, and there's no better excuse to jet-set when a trojan lineup awaits.

Previous editions has seen Nina Kraviz, Richie Hawtin, and Tale Of Us land in Memmingen for three days of raving and misbehaving across six separate areas.

A circus show program and atmospheric setting add extra character, as Ikarus continues to develop and soar each year.

Lineup

The festival takes place in the grounds of Memmingerberg Airport, an international airport in Germany's south-western corner.

FAQs

BY PLANE

As the festival takes place on the grounds of an international airport, it is very easy to reach by plane. Both Ryanair and Wizz Air operate regularly scheduled flights to Memmingen Airport across the year, from a number of European cities.

BY TRAIN

Memmingen can be reached directly by train from Munich and Augsburg (as well as from Switzerland less regularly). Bus lines 2 and 810/811 runs to Memmingen Airport from the city centre, around a 15-minute journey.
