Montreal's biggest electronic music festival

îleSoniq is a huge dance music festival which takes place each summer in the Canadian city of Montreal. Launched in 2014, the festival is currently held on the Île Notre-Dame, the neighbouring island to its original Île Saint-Helene home. 

Celebrating two memorable days with a lineup of electronic and urban music superstars, the festival transforms its Parc Jean-Drapeau setting into a colourful playground, offering fans an unforgettable festival experience in the heart of a bustling and vibrant city.

The Parc Jean Drapeau in the centre of Montreal comprises two islands, one of which was artificially constructed for the 1967 International and Universal Exposition.

BY PLANE: From Montreal Airport, take the 747 bus to Station Berri-UQAM. From there you can get the Line 4 subway to Station Jean-Drapeau.

BY TRAIN: Montreal Central Station is well connected across Canada. From the station, walk 2 minutes to Bonaventure subway station and then take the subway to Jean-Drapeau, changing at Berri-UQAM. 

Doors open at midday on each day. Performances will begin at 1pm, and end at 11pm

The festival site has a a number of gravel paths which are navigable by wheelchair. There are also reduced mobility viewing platforms (with accessible toilets) near the two main stages. Those with access to these platforms may be accompanied by one guest. You must have a Wheelchair Admission pass to access these areas.

The festival welcomes music fans of all ages, however the ÎleSoniq Terasse area is strictly 18+. Children aged 10 and younger are admitted for free, but must be accompanied by an adult. It is also advised you bring ID (two forms) if you plan to purchase alcohol on site.
